San Diego

After leaving our friends Ken and Sharon In LA, we took a train from LA to San Diego and got off at Solana Beach. Roger’s childhood friend, Duane, picked us up and took us to their house. It was kind of like coming home since we stayed at their house for 3 weeks last May while Duane and his wife Denise traveled across the country. Thanks to our friends we got to see some places we hadn’t seen before! Thanks for your hospitality Duane and Denise! It was soooo great to see Leo, again and to meet your other grandsons, Mark, Brady, and Ryder.

Oceanside

The fog was THICK as Roger and Duane ventured ahead of me on the 1/3 mile long Oceanside Pier.
Hello there Mr. Pelican

San Clemente

Enjoyed watching the surfers. Of course it made me miss out surfer son, Micah.
Very glad to leave the fog of the Oceanside pier for a a stroll on sunny San Clemente pier.☀️
The traveling trio! Denise, we missed you while you were making those big bucks….
Clam chowder with my sweetie and Duane. Three is not a crowd this time!
Drove up high for a nice view
Buddies for a really long time!
Del Mar Beach
Beautiful Sunny November lunch at the Poseidon.
Yogurt Parfait anyone?
Top of Mr. A’s
Fabulous sunset that just kept getting better.
Back to Tallahassee

We flew from San Diego back to Tallahassee to pick up Sundance and our Alto. Our little house is feeling more like home, and we were excited to be back and start our next adventure exploring the coast of North and South Carolina.

The kids are enjoying the Florida sunshine. It’s a big change from their 3 years in Alaska! They got to go for a beach vacation with mom and dad the last part of October. Love these kiddos!
